There is clearly a difference between “full figured” and obese. Personally speaking, I can’t stand rail thin women. I love hips, breasts, legs and ass – but this chick looks like Jabba The Hutt! The only curve on her is the steel-boned corset! Take it off and you have a beach ball. True curves = an hour glass figure sans corset. The ONLY thing that pisses me off about this article is, as a Satanic male, I’m offended by the perception everyone has that fat chicks are our ideal. Just because LaVey was into fat women (and that’s okay, not knocking his tastes) it’s trendy for most Satanists to like them too. It’s quite embarrassing.

Based on your comment above, you obviously don’t know anything about Marilyn, LaVey, or Satanism. First off, Marilyn’s measurements without her corset are Bust 47″, Waist 40″, Hips 49″. There are plenty of photos of her without her corset on which reveal her natural hour glass figure. Your beach ball comment is wrong! Also, this article, and the Church of Satan article it was taken from, was about Sex and Satanism, not about Plus-sized women. Obviously, you just look at the pictures and don’t read the words. If you had read her responses, you would have seen she only mentioned being a Plus-sized alternative model once when asked about her profession. She is in no way trying to head any BBWs for Satanic men movement.

Secondly, where do you get off claiming LaVey was into fat women? Carole was not fat, Diane was not fat. And Blanche might have been a curvy gal at one time, but she certainly was not fat! I came here to read the rest of Marilyn’s interview and saw the comment left above. I have been a fan of Marilyn Mansfield and her modeling work for a while now. I am sure Penthouse referred to her as a “satanic model” because that is what she does for a living as it says in her interview. I do not think Penthouse would have put her on the site or in the magazine if she was not as beautiful as she is. I think she is a goddess and wish there were more women like her! As for the alleged patriarchal thing- I would say yes , but with a twist. THEY LIKE WOMEN. Thiis is not a sexual comment- this is there is not necessity to pretend that you are are stupid thing. I have never read Boyd Rice’s book, so I don’t know what you are talking about. But if he feels as I do then obviously it’s a common stereotype. There are many Church of Satan members and non members alike who share my sentiments regarding the silly stereotypes. I can bet my bottom dollar you fit the mold. What ever happened to just being yourself?

I do not have any disdain for Miss Marilyn. I do not know her personally. So I apologize to her if I’ve offended. This interview just reeks of bias because it was written by a Church of Satan Magister, not Penthouse. And it is a poor representation of all Satanic witches as well as the physical ideal for most Satanic men. As a male CoS member, I did not want to be associated with that perception. I agree with all of Steve T.’s comment’s 100 %!

Nothing against Marilyn Mansfield at all, but the girl is just about the farthest thing from the Satanic female archetype there is. She does the best she can with what she’s got, but it’s not cutting the mustard. There’s nothing original about what she does, especially mimicked poses of what Zeena LaVey did over twenty years ago and far better at that.

The concept of the mutual admiration society goes right out the window when it makes liars out of us to tell someone they’re good at something when they’re not. It lowers the bar and that’s what happened here.

Where are all the hot Satanic witches? I’ll tell you. They were interviewed in the article. Magistra Dee, Fi Roberts and Heather Saenz are far more original, far more sexy and far more a better example of everything a Satanic witch should be. Maybe they had too much class to take off their clothes and didn’t have to prove to anyone how Satanic they are.

Steve T. tells it like it is, yet many posters immediately get defensive about their own body types and make all kinds of insults to Steve, implying that he hates women or is homosexual. I read very carefully his comments and he calls it as he sees it. He doesn’t gush on and on about phony Barbie type women who appeal to the beer swilling sports fans out there. I wish there was more honesty like his in the mutual admiration society.

Obesity not only looks unattractive because it distorts and hides the natural curvature of the female structure, it’s also very unhealthy for you. The thing that makes Me feminine is not My size; It’s the fact that I truly enjoy being a girl, and take pride in looking, smelling and feeling (both inside and on the outside) like a girl. I may have soft, ‘marshmallowy’ flesh, but also a good amount of muscle mass underneath. Even when holding My own whilst playing with the boys, I am still totally feminine. Also, you’d be surprised how many “slimmer gals” employ the use of girdles and a-line bras to create their ‘natural’ curves.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, Steve, but the concept of soap and water has made its way to the “fat chick” population as a whole. I figured out the wonders of showers, deodorant, shampoo and toothpaste long ago. Just because you are fat doesn’t mean you have to be all greasy and gross. Again, a tired stereotype that you need to realize applies not to Satanists; what, with the lack of aesthetics being a Satanic Sin and all. Next time you are out amongst the populous, take a good, deep whiff of the herd around you; they wreak of both b.o and various false chemical scents simultaneously, regardless of size.

Oh, and for the record, I am not blond (in fact, I have black hair,cut into a layered a-line bob {to disguise My terminal curly-headdedness!}), nor tattooed, and look more like a Victorian-era doll (complete with a natural complexion that belies My age) than any pinup I’ve ever seen. I’d like to take this opportunity to comment on all I’ve read on here. I’d also like to congratulate my friend, Marilyn.
First, Marilyn IS a successful model, I’m always delighted to hear of the projects she’s working on and the events where she can be seen at. She’s a lovely woman, who is genuine to the core. She embodies what a true Satanist IS. More than that, she is absolutely gorgeous! Also I believe she chose her name because these are women she admired, she’s not trying to impersonate…. she is paying homage, if you will.
I’ve never met a person more proud of being a Satanist, she doesn’t wear a giant neon sign or anything but it’s more of a quiet confidence that she carries with her, it is in her smile and movements…this charm. It could only be one thing for sure: a true manifestation of the craft in all its glory!
She has devoted her life to this philosophy and I believe Penthouse chose an amazing woman to be in this article. Regardless of what type of woman you like, she is a beautiful, fierce, strong woman. Satanists of the world should be proud to know her as one of their own.
Now to the people who want to bash on a woman you don’t even know, shame on you! Now before you ask…yes, I am full figured, content in her skin. I’m not saying that a REAL woman is large or small, I’m SAYING accept people for who they are. I’ve met beautiful larger women (I look at one everyday in the mirror) and I’ve met really ugly smaller women and vice versa. Like whomever you want to like and I agree that what pleases the eye simply pleases the eye. Preference isn’t really a matter of *choice* is it?

But don’t try to say that Mimi isn’t a “diva”….. she is in the MOST original Italian sense of the word! A TRUE diva is a female OPERA SINGER.

All “fat chicks” don’t buy into the silly rhetoric and propaganda. I’ve been with men who are chubby chasers, men who “made an exception” and guys who just like a gal for who she is. I know it raised your hackles that some people took offense that you weren’t deifying fat gals. That’s too bad. The thing about Satanism for me is that I get to be me, and it rules and you get to be you and that rules, too.

I have never understood why anyone is pissed off if someone isn’t sexually attracted to them. I can nearly always tell if a man is into me, but on the rare occasion that I’ve been mistaken by an attention wanting guy that didn’t truly find me attractive I was irritated at the waste of my time, but not mad that he wasn’t into my fat ass. These pictures are amazing. Me and my husband actually have them hanging up in our house for everyone to see. Our other gay friends want to know why we even got the magazine, and I have to admit I wondered why too but I grabbed it and fell in love with the whole thing. First, let me say, I am not a Satanist. My opinion is strictly from seeing Marilyn in person and knowing her on a personal level. She is a beauty inside and out and I, for one (but see I am not alone) take offense at the insults about her given by a certain someone. I am not a big person nor am I a rail. I am a heterosexual woman who is married to a normal guy and we both think Marilyn is one of the nicest, generous, sweetest, and beautiful woman on the planet. I’ve known her for years.

Even though I am hetero, I can still appreciate a woman’s looks, and I can say, her modeling work is very cool. She is gorgeous.

She has a lovely face underneath, but there’s so much fat on it, it’s hard to see. That lumpy area between the jaw and cheekbones, the brow is pushed down, and the eyes are made to look tiny and piggish.
On many women, fat makes them look OLD.
This much fat often makes very large women look the same as each other.

I’m all for plus sized acceptance and appreciation, It’s not my thing, I’m a female who excercises just enough to maintain a rather low weight that i find attractive in other women (it’s only fair).
I know that most men and many women like a curvy figure, of course!
However, for someone using the names of Mansfield and Marilyn… she’s like the super sized, modern-day, all-American-cheeseburger version. They were the very definition of feminine and youthfully curvaceous, not obese and matronly. Someone her size would have been laughed out of Hollywood, back then, too.
I must say I admire her confidence though!
