That lumpy area between the jaw and cheekbones, the brow is pushed down, and the eyes are made to look tiny and piggish. On many women, fat makes them look OLD. This much fat often makes very large women look the same as each other. They were the very definition of feminine and youthfully curvaceous, not obese and matronly. Someone her size would have been laughed out of Hollywood, back then, too.
