The Motor City has its share of attractions, but nothing lights up the night like the new Penthouse Club.
The opening of the newest Penthouse Club was one of the biggest, brightest, and most exciting ever. The entertainment included the club’s sultry Key Girls, plus Penthouse Pets Erica Elly son, Justine Joli, Heather Vandeven, Krista Ayne, and Cali Taylor, who won our 2007 Key Girl contest. “There’s a lot to do and a lot to see,” Erica said. “It’s almost sensory overload, but I love it.”
“It’s like Vegas in the Midwest with that Detroit Rock City edge,” Cali added. “As a dancer, I can tell you this will be a really fun place to work. But it’s even more fun to be a VIP guest.”
The billboard of Heather set the stage for the club’s oversize show. Patrons sank into plush booths and chairs to enjoy performances they’ll remember forever. The most unique feature? Two stunning, custom made motorcycles from Stevenson’s Cycles in Wayne, Michigan. The choppers rise two stories and rotate 360 degrees, allowing the dancers to show off their Motor City–worthy moves. At the opening, our Pets donned some sexy motorcycle gear from Azzure Clothes and broke in the bikes. But once the Key Girls climbed atop, even the sexiest gear was too much clothing.
The multilevel stage also has a gigantic martini glass for two where Key Girls can be seen getting intimate. Even our Pets got in the act: Erica cozied up to Justine, while Cali took on Heather. Erica even picked the music for her pas dedeux with Justine. “My favorite songs to dance to at the Penthouse Clubs are Buckcherry’s ‘Crazy Bitch’ and Def Leppard’s ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me,’ ” said Erica. “When the deejay played them, I went into full wild-girl mode.”
As amazing as the show gets, it’s not the sole attraction. The restaurant features the best steaks and seafood Detroit has to of fer. The manage ment at Penthouse Club Detroit couldn’t be happier. “The opening went beyond our expec tations,” said General Manager Matt Killgore. “We are so excited about this partnership, and we look forward to seeing what our future holds.” We’ll be back to check things out.
Penthouse Pet of the Year 2008 Erica Ellyson has joined forces with Rock Against Diabetes in a large way. She has offered to auction a date with herself, where the winner gets the royal treatment of limo service to dinner with Erica at Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Las Vegas, then limo service to the incredible new Penthouse Club in Vegas, where they will experience true VIP treatment when they accompany Erica for drinks at this amazing establishment.
The winner will also receive a ton of Penthouse swag including magazines, DVD’s and other cool items. A pair of tickets to the Rock Against Diabetes Preshow Bash August 22nd, as well as a set of impossible to find main show VIP tickets for the Rock Against Diabetes main event on August 23rd, 2008. VIP treatment at the R.A.D. show will also be a one of a kind experience with up close and intimate access to all of the performers and some give aways that are for VIP’s only.
Erica will also be at the Preshow Bash and Main Event, where she will assist host Evel Dick Donato in the hosting duties, sign autographs for fans and hang out in the VIP area. The date will take place on August 24th, the day after the Rock Against Diabetes events. This is by far, the coolest, or hottest weekend package to be offered in Vegas all summer.

July 15, 2008 - Sure, she may have been voted as Penthouse’s Pet of the Year for 2008, but Babe of the Day Erica Ellyson claims to have a higher calling: architecture.
That’s right, this babe is not only a compelling centerfold, she’s also actively pursuing a degree in architecture. According to her Myspace profile, Ellyson’s other passions include travel, golf, softball, football and fishing.
Ellyson has come a long way from her hometown of Hurley, Mississippi. In 2007, at age 22, Ellyson was voted Pet of the Month, for the month of January.
As a result of her growing popularity among Penthouse readers, Ellyson earned the coveted spot of 2008’s Pet of the Year, and was featured on the cover of the Pet of the Year edition of Penthouse released in early March.
Currently, Ellyson resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is rumored to be dating Boston Red Sox pitcher, Clay Bucholz.
“Recently a couple guys from Break were invited to a Penthouse DVD release party where they interviewed some extremely hot women with whom they had absolutely no chance of hooking up. They did however get some funny interviews.”
